Day 5 – Starwars Celebration 2

April 19, Chiba

Another late start for us today. The boys ran off to get breakfast, and Julie and I took our time getting ready and dressed and off to celebration. The cosplay for today was a little lighter. We got to the show floor and split up. I wanted to look at the stage and Julie wanted to shop. Because I was so early, I got real close to the stage. Got to see all kinds of cool stars and learn about what was coming up next. Not being the night sister afforded me a lot more time to be at things. Honestly, I could have hung out there all day and learned all of the things, and seen all of the stars. Truly the only reason I left it was to appease my travel mates. But soon it was also time for me to meet

While in line Elijah found the bad batch so of course we had to get a picture. It’s so crazy how was everyone just comes together. The line didn’t move for a little bit so we all made ourselves comfortable and Nate made friends with the neighbors. While I edited one of my videos and Elijah played games. The bad batch was right behind us so Elijah was nerding out a little bit. Soon. The line opened so we all got up and made our way into the closed box where we would meet our favorite boba Fett. He was a nice guy. It was a very short time but he made sure to talk to each of us, albeit only a few words. He shook Nate’s hand and thanked us for coming. I touched the shoulder of boba Fett!

Another reason to be grateful that I got the hotel room as close as I did. We went back to the room to go to combini for lunch and then for a well-deserved break just to put our feet up for a minute. I found a new drink that I love and snacks are delicious and cheap.

Julie and Elijah decided to stay again for the afternoon, so Nate and I went back. More stars. Stars. More news. Super close to the stage, but we had to give up our spot so we can go get an autograph from Sam whitworth, the voice of Darth Maul in the animated series. While in line, they said that a convention was now closed, but the live stage was still popping. We went back to hear final news in the closing of the day.

Once back at home, it was time to do a light pack. Before so we could avoid the crowd in the morning. Here in Japan, because there’s not a lot of space on public transportation, they have luggage shipping companies that will transport your luggage to your next location. So we went to the info counter and filled out our waybill with the help of staff and turned in the luggage. Juli stuck around to do some swag trade while Nate and I headed back to our rooms. We all then ended the night at the top floor lounge.
